The Journey and Story of NimoArts

Since childhood, art has been my quiet companion, the way I expressed myself before I even found the right words. That little inner artist grew with me, and in 2019 I pursued it formally as a textile designer. My professional journey began at an export firm in Delhi, but life took an unexpected turn during the pandemic. While the world slowed down, my brushes didn’t. I painted consistently, and somewhere between those endless days, I discovered my own voice in art.

This voice took shape through bold compositions of women, powerful yet faceless. I never painted the features, especially the eyes. To me, eyes hold the soul of a person, and by not painting them, I wanted every woman to see herself, to feel her own soul reflected in the art. What began as personal expression soon grew into something people connected with deeply. They started calling it faceless art.

From there, NimoArts became more than just paintings on canvas. I began transforming my art into products like sketchbooks, diaries, and keepsakes that carried not just designs, but stories and emotions. People loved holding something so personal, and that’s when I knew this journey had only just begun.

Over time, NimoArts found its way into larger conversations and collaborations—with names like Netflix, Hobby Ideas, Fizzy Goblet, and many more. Each collaboration became another chapter, affirming that art truly has no boundaries.

For me, though, NimoArts has always been more than a brand. It’s a philosophy, a feeling, and even a tradition. I call my work SHABD art—Shrishti’s Handpainted Art Beyond Desires because every creation comes straight from the heart, carrying a piece of my soul and expressing it through the art.

At its core, NimoArts believes in handmade love. Every brushstroke, every detail, and every product is crafted with emotion, patience, and passion. It’s not just about what you hold in your hands, but how it makes you feel. That’s why NimoArts is celebrated not just as art, but as an experience, as a little festival of creativity and connection.

This journey has been a roller coaster, yes but one filled with colors, courage, and endless possibilities. And I believe, it’s only the beginning.
